Why we print with biobased PLA
We print every vase to order, layer by layer, in the Netherlands. It does not start on a potter's wheel but on the computer, where we build each form digitally. The signature of the technique remains visible in the matte surface.
What is biobased PLA?
PLA is a plant-based bioplastic made from renewable resources such as corn and sugarcane instead of petroleum. It gives a warm, matte finish that matches the understated aesthetic of our vases.
Made to order, so no waste
Because we only start printing when you order, we make nothing for stock and throw nothing away. You choose the shape, color, and size; we print exactly that.
Good to know: PLA is not heat resistant. Keep your vase out of direct sunlight behind glass and away from temperatures above 55 degrees Celsius, and it will last for years.
